“Ring of Right”
Upon entry, submissive guests will select a pendant we call a Ring of Right, the primary purpose of which is to inform all guests of your personal availability, expectations, or limitations during the evening. The Ring of Right serves to ensure a balance between indulgent freedom and the observance of the higher rules of protocol and etiquette.
As always, “No” means “No” and we expect all guests to respect the personal limits of all attendees. If a submissive guest feels it necessary to decline a request for service from any Domme guest, it is expected that it will be done so with grace and respect.
You may change your Ring Colour at any time throughout the event.
Submissives, be prepared to choose your ring!
GREEN:
Recommended for submissives looking to interact unencombered with Dominant guests.
When a submissive is dawning a green ring, that submissive may be touched by Domme guests in any reasonable fashion (un-negotiated genital touching, penetration, or heavy pain is not considered reasonable), may be ordered to any or all basic service, including fetching of drinks, hors d’ouvres, fanning, massaging, “kneel and look pretty” service, etc. Guests wearing a green ring may be treated as any discerning Domme may choose, within the parameters of that individual’s limits and level of comfort.
("Houses slaves” are considered to be wearing a Green Ring unless wearing a ring of another colour)
YELLOW:
Reserved for eager but tentative submissives, or owned/accompanied submissives allowed to play or serve with permission.
A yellow ring signifies a moderate degree of reservation, or imposed limitations with an honest desire for play and/or interaction with Dommes. These guests may be requested into service, but an upfront discussion with a yellow ringed submissive is required as opposed to a green ringed submissive. An upfront discussion may be as simple as asking "Would it be within your limits to...” before your request. Guests wearing a yellow ring will be considered open to basic services such as fetching drinks or hors d’ouvres, conversation and light touching.
RED:
Reserved for owned, collared, or otherwise unavailable submissive guests.
(Unowned/Unaccompanied submissives may NOT select a red ring.)
How might you want your property treated? The red ring reveals that these submissive guests may not be touched or ordered without the permission of their Domme (if present) or their own permission if they are owned but attending without their Domme.
BLACK:
Reserved for Dommes and signifies with absolute clarity, your status as Dominant. (Dommes may choose to decline wearing a Ring of Right as it is not necessary)
