We love our volunteers!

And ANYONE (DOMMES INCLUDED) able to help out with a few hours of their time to aid in the set-up, service during, or the clean-up and tear-down after the event will be rewarded with FREE ENTRY! (And potentially with a free meal and drinks too depending on what time you are helping out)

We have plenty or different ways for you to help out!!

ADVANCE SET-UP: (We generally begin setting up 5pm – 9pm a day or two before the scheduled event.)

Available tasks:
- General indoor cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping, scrubbing, washing, etc.)
- Outdoor cleanup (varies depending on time of year)
- Furniture placement (moving key pieces of furniture into place)
- Bar set-up (arranging the glassware and beverage inventory and cleaning bar area)
- Decorating (each event boasts a different theme and we seek creative souls to help bring it all to life)

 

EVENT DAY SET-UP: (We generally begin at 3pm on the day of the event.)

Available tasks:
- Any and all unfinished tasks from the Advance Set-up list. (see above)
- Shopping with Madame Alexa (loading and unloading cart and car etc.)
- Food and kitchen prep (cutting fruits and veg, preparing food items, organizing kitchen area, etc.)

 

EVENT SERVICE/MANAGEMENT:
Anyone helping DURING the event is asked to arrive a minimum of 1 hour prior to the event start

- Kitchen/Servant Manager
- Greeting and coat check
- Bar tending
- Tour guide
- Kitchen help/Food & Drink service/busing (preparing food, staging trays/platters, serving food, serving drinks, keeping kitchen area clean, and busing)
- Personal services (may include fanning, foot massage, human furniture, cigarette lighter, etc, etc.)
*(Any or all of the tasks listed above may be asked of a general house slave/servant)

 

TEAR-DOWN AND CLEAN UP:
We generally tear down and clean up from 5pm – 9pm on the Monday after the scheduled event.

Available tasks:
- General indoor cleaning (vacuuming, wiping, mopping, dish washing, etc.)
- General “after-math” recovery (collecting cups, trash, lost articles, etc.)
- Furniture re-placement (moving key pieces of furniture back into place)
- Decoration removal and recovery (take down the decorations and put them away for next time)
